Why Our Summer Break School’s Out Program ROCKS!

July 31,2018

Every day of our Summer Break School’s Out Program is never identical to another. We make sure kiddos get to experience something new every time they come into the gym, whether it’s from a creative imaginative game or from making something new through arts & crafts!

We offer three different time slots:

  • a morning session from 9:00am to 12:00pm,
  • an afternoon session from 12:00pm to 3:00pm,
  • and an all day session from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

Kiddos are always rolling in at different time so we make sure to not start any of the activities until about midmorning. We generally start the day with Open Play, which is when children are able to enjoy full use of our sensory-safe gym under our supervision (or parents supervision if not a part of our program) to let them get their energy out.

Once midmorning hits, we get all the little ones together and have them work on an art project. These art projects generally take about an hour and are completely open to everyone! You don’t have to be a part of our program to enjoy a ROCKIN’ art project. Check out some of the awesome recent past projects:

(If kiddo does not want to make a craft, we try to make it for them so they can take something to remember their ROCKING time at the gym!)

Once everyone has an awesome piece of art to take home we’ll hold lunch time around noon.
We all come up with an imaginative game where kiddos will pretend to be heroes, characters, ninjas, etc, or we’ll hide an item and have them compete to find it the fastest.

We come up with different games and activities for each and every day to make sure the kiddos are always doing something fun and new!

After our game of the day we like to let the kids have another session of Open Play where they can use the gym however they see fit within our supervision!
