February is here and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Crafting cute cards and decorations with your kids is the perfect way to celebrate the month of love. Since children, particularly those with special needs, learn primarily through sensory exploration, crafting is beneficial to your kids’ long-term sensory and creative development. Interacting and playing with different materials will increase their tolerance to new stimuli and exercise their gross motor coordination. Best of all, crafts like these stimulate their creativity and allow them to express themselves!

To help you get ready for Valentine’s Day, here is a list of 5 easy Valentine’s Day crafts your kids can have fun with.
